History

At Griffin Leggett Funeral Homes & Memorial Parks, our story spans more than a century. It is a proud tradition, an honorable heritage and a history that we share with the communities we serve. Our experience guides our care, and our history reminds us that we are first and foremost a family serving families — we are people to depend on. In fact, Griffin Leggett Funeral Homes were named “Best of the Best” funeral homes in 1998 by readers of the Arkansas Democrat Gazette.

Community Involvement

At Griffin Leggett, we take pride in being part of the communities we serve. In addition to providing professional and caring funeral service to Arkansas families, we are proud to offer the use of our facilities to local organizations for meetings or get-togethers. We also provide grief seminars and support groups, memorial services, hospice programs and a Memorial Tree program to remember loved ones during the holidays.

Our Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Location

Healey & Roth Funeral Home was founded in 1905. In 1974, it merged with Griffin Leggett Funeral Home, which was established in 1936. The strong traditions of Griffin Leggett and those of Healey & Roth combined to create an establishment capable of providing unparalleled professional and personal service to Little Rock families.

At Griffin Leggett, we believe that every life is unique, and every funeral should be too. We celebrate life. Griffin Leggett also offers The Simplicity Plan® prearrangement program, an easy way to handle an important family responsibility.

"Memories that live on forever…the Enduring Memories® Video Booth

Preserving our family legacy can be the most important thing we can do for our children, grandchildren, and future generations. Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home is pleased to offer families the unique opportunity to share, record, and preserve their own special memories of their loved one through our exclusive multi-media tribute program. Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home's new Enduring Memories® Video Booth allows family and friends the opportunity to record and preserve on video the special stories, memories and experiences that make up the story of a life well lived—all in the privacy of our Enduring Memories booth. Each and every tribute is beautifully captured and presented on DVD. This one-of-a-kind archive can also be valuable in helping families work through the complicated emotions that follow a loss.

Creating an Enduring Memories® video tribute is simple. When making funeral arrangements, our funeral director will ask you to bring with you pictures of your loved one. The photos are used to produce a beautiful picture tribute, which plays continuously throughout the gathering at the funeral home. During the gathering, family members and friends are invited to enter the Enduring Memories® video booth to record a personal message about their loved one or friend. These recorded messages are combined with photos and music to create a touching three to five minute video that can then be played during the funeral or memorial service. Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home staff members are available throughout the gathering to direct guests to the booth and answer any questions they may have. Following the service, you will also receive a copy of all unedited messages left by family and friends.
